pandora stand alone player

Last.fm is a joy to use, but has never given me the collection of songs that Pandora has. Maybe it’s b/c I used pandora for much longer before using Last.fm? Or it could be that with Pandora I’m easily able to combine stations/artists. I don’t know how to do that with last.fm

The downside of pandora for me had always been having to use it in a browser window. So yesterday I set out to look into Pandora stand alone players. I found a number of options. Everything I came across was free. I ended up downloading Pandora’s beta version. But there are many more options. Maybe I’ll try them later. So far, using the pandora stand alone player has led to fewer freeze ups. But my computer is pretty slow in general, only 512mb ram right now.
